Excel function : INDEX


The INDEX function returns a value from a table based on column and row numbers in the defined table.
  • Enter a cell range that defines a table in the "Reference" box.
  • In the "Row_num" box, enter the row number, and in "Column_num" enter the column number. These should be the column and row numbers within the table defined in "Reference".
